Concept
As a foreigner, like many others I have been learning English for a long time, however I am still confused by many vocabularies, slang, and the complex structures of sentences.
The shape of English letters may totally different from our mother language, the order of each words in a sentence also will not be the same. And sometimes, even if I can understand every single word, its meaning is mutilated.

Target
I would like to provide an experience to users that they can feel how stressful and difficult learning a foreign language through intuitive visual components.
- The target group is English speaking people.
- There should be obstacle when users read these “English” sentences.
- Users can visually experience moving forward in the learning process.

According to most people’s reading habit, scrolling from left to right or top to bottom means moving forward. Thus I can use such motion as a visual clue to represent progress in learning process.

By overlapping multiple layers creating a depth in the scene can provide a sense of moving forward as well.

There are two main elements in this website. One is reorganized “English” letters, and the other one is the quiz related to the “English” words. These letters are important attractive elements in the page and the quiz is the subject of this project, therefore both of them need to be highlighted.
I came across an idea : DNA which is a double helix structure can satisfy both of them.
